NABC and Clifford Chance offer you an interesting in-depth master class on the fiscal and practical implications of investment treaties in Africa. Here Clifford Chance will start presenting the judicial and fiscal aspects in terms of African investment. We will get through tax treaties, investment protection treaties, corruption and so on.

Afterwards we focus merely on the practical implication of the treaties and African regulations. Several companies and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DAF) will take the floor presenting their experiences when it comes to investment treaties in Africa.
After this plenary session, the audience will be invited to work on a case-study based on real case scenario's.
