This networking reception is organized to facilitate new partnerships between the Ghanaian and Dutch parties active in the WASH sectors.

Within the context of the third Ghana WASH Window call for proposals expected to open in four weeks, NABC, FME and NWP receive a delegation of 15 Ghanaian companies, professional associations and 5 local government officials accompanied by Mr. Julius Debrah, the new Minister of Local Government and Rural Development from 29 September -3 October.

This mission is the initiative of Netherlands Embassy in Ghana and RVO (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland). The purpose of the visit of the Ghanaian delegation is to build and strengthen partnerships and develop proposals for GWW with Dutch partners.

This third GWW call will open by the end of September and close in February 2015. The objective of the call is to provide innovate solutions in the field of:

  • Sanitation and hygiene
  • Improved waste management (solid and liquid)
  • Access to and use of safe drinking water
  • Urban water management

Participating Ghanaian companies and organisations have been selected by the Netherlands Embassy in Accra and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). They expected to be well prepared and we are confident to welcome an interesting delegation. The participating local government officials hope to develop ideas how to facilitate public -private partnerships in the field of WASH.
