The next African Business Club, organised by NABC and INTL FCStone, will be held on June 13. Two speakers from leading Dutch NGOs will share their view of how Africa will look in 2050. Does the private sector share a similar view on the future of Africa with the Non-Governmental Organisations? Are NGOs too focused on doom scenarios? Will these different perspectives clash or can they be combined to create the most probable prediction of what the future will look like? Together with you, we will try to find answers to these questions. Plan Nederland director Monique van 't Hek will be one of the speakers. Additionally, The Spindle, linked to PARTOS (an umbrella organisation for NGOs), will join the debate.
The first course of the Africa-Academy: 'Succesvol op Handelsmissie' will commence on June 5, brought to you by NABC and evofenedex. The aim of this programme is to show you how to make a success of your trade mission. This daylong course will be initiated by Peter de Ruiter, NABC's managing director, who will go into his extensive experience with doing business in Africa's largest economy; Nigeria. Following this, Marina Diboma, NABC's deputy managing director, who has succesfully completed a vast number of trade missions, will explain how to deal with the cultural differences within Africa and how to enter the plane prepared. During the day multiple guest speakers, who participaticed in past trade missions, will share their practical experience with you. You can register for this event via the EveFenedex courses website. You can contact Arne Doornebal for questions.
